In accordance with the teachings of Acts 11:19-26, we serve all the CECV (Chinese Evangelical Church of Vancouver) members through caring and Bible study. Our purpose is to equip and edify one another so that the body of Christ may be strengthened and grow to maturity. We also share the Gospel with friends in our community through “evangelism?and “caring? so that we may bring them to Christ so they can eventually become members of God’s family.

We usually meet at CECV every Friday evening from 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM but once in a while we meet at a member’s house. The meetings usually begin with hymn songs followed by Bible study, prayer and sharing.

We are currently studying “The Gospel according to Luke? Our hope is that the seekers can gradually understand the Gospel and the Lord Jesus Christ through this study. In addition, we hope that our brothers and sisters can understand Jesus?teachings more deeply, and apply them to their daily lives. By doing so, we can change our core values and subsequently, our lives can bear the fruits of the Spirit and become a fragrance for Christ.
